Disney Friday Favorites

Happy Friday!  This Friday is extra special because I'm heading down to Walt Disney World to run Mickey's Jingle Jungle 5k during the Wine & Dine Half Marathon weekend!!!  I know I've already told you, but I'm just so excited!!  I've been running for a few months now and just did my first non-virtual 5k last month for a Color Me Rad event.  That was awesome but I've been looking forward to this runDisney event for ages, it seems!  So here's a special somewhat-run-themed Disney Friday Favorites!

Favorite Truth:
I found this on Disney Dining's FB page and it seemed made for me, what with my blog name, new found love of running, and all.  :)

Favorite Running Outfit:
Okay, so I showed you that my usual workout gear reminded me of Merida after I saw an outfit on Disney Bound, but here is another one that I would love to put together one day!  Maybe for the next runDisney event I sign up for...

Bonus Favorite Running Outfits:
So I totally want these two running outfits, too.  :)  Loki (I may or may not have a slight crush on Tom Hiddleston) and Daisy Duck.

Favorite Medal Hanger:
How beautiful is this?  I love it!  Now in search of where to buy it!

Disney Friday Favorites

I've been itching to post some more on this blog, but life has just gotten in the way!  :)  Between work, family, and the apartment above us flooding thus having it rain in our apartment... well, certain things have really had to go on the back burner for awhile.  I'm glad that I've been able to stick with the wonderful group of Disney fans that is the Magical Blogorail, but I've been missing doing at least another post here and there.  So I would love to start back up with a Friday Favorites post!  Here is what I've been loving lately:

Phew, things have been crazy around here!  Even though I am putting more on my plate (I recently got a job!), I feel like things are falling into place again and hopefully soon things won't feel quite as hectic.  All that to say, here it finally is again... my Friday Favorites!

Thanks to Chip & Company, I found out that Disney Junior's Octonauts toys will be released in the U.S. in March!  I love Kwazii (the cute pirate cat on the left in the picture below, in case you aren't familiar)... in fact, my husband ordered me a stuffed Kwazii from the U.K. awhile back.  Now I won't have to worry about massive shipping costs if I find another cute Kwazii toy.  ;)

I apologize (again) for posting this a day late.  Maybe I should just call it Disney Weekend Favorites?  ;)

Favorite Recipe:
My family loves making s'mores together.  Especially over an open fire.  But, when you just can't get to a bonfire, try this S'mores Bake straight from Big Thunder Ranch Barbecue at Disneyland, posted on the Disney Parks blog.

Favorite Sweet-I-Have-To-Make:
My daughter absolutely adores Jake and the Neverland Pirates, so I pretty much have to make these cute pops that I first saw over at Disney Every Day.

Favorite Christmas Splurge:
This rotating, light-up tree topper is so cool!  I would love to have this atop my tree.  I found it at Mickey Fix and you can buy it through The Bradford Exchange Online.

Disney Friday Favorites - On Saturday

Sorry for the delay.  I am just getting over a stomach virus that Ashlyn had right before me.  So we haven't been in the computer mood lately.  I am back for a few fun favorites, though!  I am in the need of a little cheer, so please forgive me if I overload on a bit of Christmas this December 1st.  :)

Favorite Disney Ornament:
Okay, this was a hard one.  At first, while browsing DisneyStore.com, I wanted to pick the new Chip & Dale ornament.  But Aaron bought it for me last year (and I adore it).   Then I wanted to pick the Timothy Mouse (from Dumbo) ornament because, well, you just don't see much of him on merchandise!  But, I had to go with the Flynn and Rapunzel ornament because it reminds me of hubby and me.  ♥

Favorite Disney Christmas Craft:
Over at Spoonful, I found these Mickey Snowman Cookies.  These would be so much fun to make with the kids!  Heck, I'd have fun making these even if I didn't have a little one running around.  :)

Favorite Christmas Programming:
Today is December 1st and that means... ABC Family's 25 Days of Christmas programming!  It is for-real-get-ready-to-set-the-DVRs-for-Christmas-magic time!  I look forward to this every year.  Go here for the full schedule.

Thanks for bearing with me.  I feel much better than I have the past few days and hope to be 100% tomorrow.  I have our first Christmas movie night planned for Sunday!  We will be watching Elf... it plays tonight on ABC Family if you want to watch it, but Aaron works nights now so we will be doing it the next day (thank you, DVR).  :)  Thankfully it plays again throughout the month if you want to use any of our ideas!

Major Domo's Favorite Pie from Cinderella's Royal Table.  It was so yummy when we tried it at the restaurant.  I would love to try to make it at home!  AllEars.net has this recipe from Disney and so many more!


I am already loving Disney Friday Favorites.  As I get more in the groove of it, I will have more and more things to share.  I will also be focusing a little bit on some more budget-friendly crafts here and there.  I'm very excited for these additions and I hope you like them, too!
