Customized Autograph Book

When my daughter started really enjoying the characters at Walt Disney World (like wanting to go up and hug them and whatnot), I thought it would be cool for her to get their signatures.  There are so many cute autograph books you can get through Disney, but I decided to do something a little different.  I downloaded and printed off some autograph cards from some talented people at the DIS Boards (though at the moment I cannot remember their user names).  The cards have pictures of the characters on them (and sometimes a scene from the movie as the background) and not only are they really cool looking, but they made for some awesome character interaction as well (especially with Tiana and Prince Naveen in our case).

Anyway, all three of us are sick right now (which is why we didn't do our Saludos Amigos movie night) so instead I have finally started to turn the autograph cards into a scrapbook.  I am also putting pictures of Ashlyn with the characters in it.  This way she can look through it any time she wants.  Here is the front of the scrapbook

I made little slits in the paper to slip the pictures in (the ones with Ashlyn in them) instead of using photo squares or anything so I can update the pictures easier.  Also, Shutterfly often has great deals on prints so keep an eye out for that and then get your pictures and autograph cards printed out (that's what I did).  Or, if you are a Disney Movie Rewards member, they regularly have 4x6 prints from Snapfish available for around 300 points (and they regularly have a photobook from them available as a reward, too).  I haven't tried this yet, but probably will next time I need some prints and Shutterfly isn't having a sale at the time.  I am still working on it, but it's a lot of fun to do.  Ashlyn loves us to read the book I made her to her so I think she will really enjoy this, too.  It's a great way to relive the memories.

  1. I assume you haven't had any trouble with shutterfly and copyrighted images? I thought about getting some printed but I was worried about the copyright stuff.

Very very cute, by the way! My kids look at their autograph books almost daily!

  2. Thank you! I hope Ashlyn likes it as much as your kids like their autograph books. :) They could have changed things (I printed these out 6 or 7 months ago at least), but Shutterfly gave me no issues printing them out.
