This week is all about resorts and relaxation! I've only stayed at three resorts at WDW so far (making that 4 this September!) but so far Port Orleans French Quarter is by far our favorite.
That last picture was the view from our room. LOVE.
We have stayed at almost all of the resorts at Disney - but POFQ is hands down our favorite. We were leaving HS last month and decided to go to downtown Disney - so we hopped on a bus to POFQ so we could enjoy the ambiance before we got in a boat. Fabulous resort!
Then you definitely need to stay at Port Orleans Riverside one day! I haven't stayed there, but they have special "Royal Rooms" where the story behind them are that Tiana invited all her princess friends to stay and these are the rooms they stay in. They look gorgeous. http://disneyparks.disney.go.com/blog/2011/04/specialty-rooms-will-give-guests-the-royal-treatment/
Very neat - haven't stayed there yet either (or even seen it)... thanks for sharing! Are you going back there in Sept or someplace new? HAVE A WONDERFUL TIME!! :)
Thank you! We are actually going to stay in the Little Mermaid rooms at the Art of Animation resort in September. I can't wait!! I want to try out all the resorts.
We haven't stayed at French Quarter (we are a family of five and do not fit!), but we have walked over from Riverside. I love the grounds and the atmosphere!

ReplyDeleteHaven't been to this one yet either but it looks lovely! I think my 8 year old would love this one - it would remind her of Princess and the Frog!

DeleteAhh, rooms with flowers right outside. Perfect for the husband who says something stupid then has to apologize. Looks like a great place to stay.
ReplyDeleteWe haven't stayed there yet but I love the details. Great shots!
