Disneyland for Xbox 360 Kinect

Yesterday I was catching up on my favorite blogs (my Google Reader gets SO backed up while I'm on vacation!) and saw an interesting bit of information on one of my favorites, Couponing To Disney. This Christmas season will bring us Disneyland on Kinect! We don't have an Xbox 360 (we chose a PS3 and Wii instead) and have had no desire to get one. We just happen to like the games on the others more. But Holy Cool Disney Game, Batman! You can explore the park, hug your favorite characters, ride the rides, and more! I am very tempted to try and get Santa to put this under the tree this year! It doesn't help that after I showed Aaron the video (you can see it here), he started saying how cool the Kinect games are.


Anyway, we may not be getting it this Christmas (we're saying our WDW annual passes will be our Christmas presents to each other this year... along with some stuff for the house we're trying to buy), but it's definitely on the "want" list! :) Do you plan on getting this game for yourself or someone else this Christmas?

New Themed Rooms in Walt Disney World Moderate Resorts?

How cool would it be to take the experience of your favorite ride in the Magic Kingdom and bring it with you to your hotel room? A few rooms in the Caribbean Beach Resort have been transformed into Pirate rooms and have proved to be extremely popular, even though it's $30 more per night than standard rooms. Looking at this picture of one of these rooms, though, I'm rethinking our accomodations for our upcoming September trip!

Now Disney has been giving a survey to some guests asking if they would enjoy other themed rooms like a Royal room and a Haunted Mansion room! Pirates of the Caribbean and Haunted Mansion are my two favorite rides, and I am definitely a princess at heart, so I'm very excited! Mouse Unlimited (credit to them for the above photo) has more information and pictures of how a Royal and Haunted Mansion room may look if brought to reality. What do you think? If you could suggest another themed room for Disney, what would it be and which resort would you like to see it in?

Possible Ticket Price Increase

While hanging out on Twitter today, I heard the strong rumor that Walt Disney World Magic Your Way tickets will increase on August 1st. As of right now it is just a rumor, but check out Mickey Updates for more info.
