Isn't It Romantic?

I thought this was a fitting topic what with Valentine's Day right around the corner (let that be a reminder just in case you need one ;) ). I think most of us have seen love bloom at Disney, whether it was in person or captured on video and shared on the internet. I love when an article pops up about a creative, grand, romantic gesture that happened at Disney. I found a picture of a proposal on Splash Mountain over on Pinterest. And have you SEEN this Downtown Disney flashmob proposal? WOW! So cool. With all the magic floating around the place, it's no wonder it is the perfect place for romance. The Disney Parks Blog even posted their top 10 proposal ideas. I seriously could go on and on about this because I am just a sucker for romantic stuff.

I was proposed to at our house in Virginia a little over 5 years ago in a sweet scavenger hunt around our home. Now he still does little things all the time to show me he loves me and that always spills over into Disney. Whether it be with a surprise new Disney ornament on the tree he knew I had been wanting, making sure we get a Dole Whip every trip because it remind me of my mom (and it's yummy), or holding my hand while we sat in "our spot" in the Magic Kingdom while our daughter took a nap during those early trips.

One of the things he has done that was very romantic didn't happen on Disney property, but led us there. We had just moved to Florida and I was just feeling depressed for whatever reason. It had been a few days with me feeling like that. We woke up one morning and he said "as soon as Ashlyn wakes up, we're going to WDW." He knew it would lift my spirits and we could all just have fun and unwind together as a family. It was so sweet and still brings a smile to my face when I remember how lucky I am. :)

What is the most romantic thing you have seen or experienced at Disney?
