Whew, it's been a crazy week! But I'm back with another Spotlight Friday! This week I'm shining the light on an awesome blog you may know about... DisneyShawn! Shawn has worked for the Walt Disney Company and loves its history and strong attention to detail. This shows in his blog. I absolutely LOVE to read about little Disney tidbits that not everyone may know and DisneyShawn is a fabulous resource. I always enjoy reading his posts and I think you will, too. Check it out!

Spotlight Friday
Each Friday I shine the spotlight on a Disney-related site that I have found and enjoy. I know I love discovering new (or at least new to me!) Disney websites and blogs and want to pass them on to you!
I recently found a new website that I very much enjoy. There are reviews, news, and Q&A's. At Everything Walt Disney World you can find pretty much, well, everything about Walt Disney World! Hmmm, I guess the name speaks for itself...
I have to admit that even when I know about some recent news coming out of the Walt Disney Company, I still enjoy reading it from a few different sources. By reading the same thing from different perspectives, it helps you get every bit of information you can and helps you form a very educated opinion of your own. And Everything Walt Disney World is a great resource.

Spotlight Friday
Each Friday I shine the spotlight on a Disney-related site that I have found and enjoy. I know I love discovering new (or at least new to me!) Disney websites and blogs and want to pass them on to you!
Ever feel like when you are going to eat at a theme park that your options are pretty much chicken fingers and hamburgers? Well, that is definitely not the case at Disney! The Disney Food Blog, where "food IS a theme park," is all about the edible at Disney. There are mouth-watering pictures, wonderful reviews, information, and much more.
Each trip I take to a Disney park, I like to try and do at least one new thing. If you are wanting to try a new restaurant, The Disney Food Blog is a great resource. It is a very fun blog, but don't read it on an empty stomach!

Spotlight Friday
Each Friday I shine the spotlight on a Disney-related site that I have found and enjoy. I know I love discovering new (or at least new to me!) Disney websites and blogs and want to pass them on to you!
This week I want to feature the website of a very nice, talented man who writes "Disney inspired, mouse-sized poetry" otherwise known as Mouse of Zen!
I first heard one of J. B. Conway's Disney haikus when someone I follow on Twitter retweeted it. I immediately started following him! One of my favorite haikus so far has been:
hot chocolate eyes | burn a smile deep in my soul | daughter, a princess
I may be partial to that one because it reminds me of my daughter. :) But that is just one of many wonderful haikus! He has a book filled with these coming out in just a couple of short months, appropriately named Mouse of Zen. I am very much looking forward to adding it to my Disney library and recommend you pick it up, too!

This site is run by another Disney family. They talk about Walt Disney World from different perspectives, taking on the World with little ones, and so much more.
I think it is so interesting to catch a glimpse of Disney through another person's eyes. It gives you the chance to learn new tips or details to look out for. Check them out!

Spotlight Friday
Each Friday I shine the spotlight on a Disney-related site that I have found and enjoy. I know I love discovering new Disney websites and blogs and want to pass them on to you!
This week the spotlight is shining on... Disney In My Life!
I think this site is so much fun. Anyone can submit a photo of where they have randomly found Disney throughout their every day lives. One of my favorites is this submission. It's an Infiniti with the license plate "N BYOND." Get it? Think Toy Story... Buzz Lightyear... yep. Pretty clever! I've wanted an Infiniti for awhile and if I ever get one, I may just have to get this license plate if possible! I've actually submitted a photo myself! Hmmm... seeing that again makes me want to 1) make more! and 2) submit another photo to Disney In My Life!
Anyway, I love this site because it reminds you that the Disney experience doesn't end when you leave the property. You can keep that magical feeling going every day.

Each Friday I shine the spotlight on a Disney-related site that I have found and enjoy. I know I love discovering new Disney websites and blogs and want to pass them on to you!
This week I'd like to introduce you to... Couponing To Disney!
Couponing To Disney teaches you how to maximize your savings with coupons, rebates, deals, and more. Kristin, the site's creator, shares how much she saves, how she does it, and how much she currently has in her Disney Fund! She posts multiple times a day and it's always worth checking in periodically throughout the day. Among the deals and everything that she posts about, she also posts reminders about exercising, planning dinner for that night, and more to help keep everything under control.
She has truly inspired me to save more money (not to mention being better about keeping up my home schedule!). My husband and I have started our own Disney fund... though we call it our Fun Fund because I'm sure once or twice we may just save up for something fun other than Disney. *GASP!* I know, I know, I can't believe I said that either. Right now we are saving up whatever we can to go towards our upcoming September WDW trip but after that I think we'll be saving up for annual passes in case we're stationed in California or Florida next. ;)

My first Spotlight Friday is focusing on Magical Mouse Schoolhouse!
What a fun name, right? This site was created to show the opportunities for learning that are in every aspect of Disney. The posts vary in skill levels and what's better than learning while having fun? I keep finding more and more great things each time I visit Magical Mouse Schoolhouse. I highly recommend heading over there to check it out!
