Favorite Disney Picture

Welcome to those of you joining me from 400 Miles to Disneyland and those of you just hopping aboard. I am the final stop on our Magical Blogorail.

This month we are sharing our favorite Disney picture and the story behind it.  The first picture that popped into my head was one from the first trip we took where Ashlyn was really into the characters.


This trip we made it to Mickey's Toontown before rope drop and were met with the decision to head on over to see Mickey and Minnie or to go see the Fairies.  Well, we knew that later in the day, the Fairies line would be crazy busy and we had never met them, so we thought we'd give it a try.  Ashlyn did so well and really enjoyed it, so we made that trip character heavy.  Her favorite princess was (still is, though sometimes a new princess like Rapunzel or Merida takes the #1 spot for a bit) Aurora so we made sure we went to go visit her.  Aurora was the first princess among the three that were there that day.  Ashlyn was in absolute awe.  Practically speechless (which is major with her haha).  I think Aurora could tell she was star struck and not shy, because she talked to her for a long time and they had the cutest conversation.  And then, there was a sweet kiss.

You can just see the joy on Ashlyn's face.  :)  I was even lucky enough to win a Pixiegraph with this picture and a haiku by Mouse of Zen.

Ack!  I'm tearing up now.  :)
