Well, this week I didn't choose a quote. I decided I wanted something from Sleeping Beauty and while looking through some quotes (on imdb.com) I came across a lot of really cool trivia so I thought I'd share one of them! Did you know that in the original German fairy tale, Sleeping Beauty is named Briar Rose. In the Italian version, she is Princess Aurora. I thought it was really cool to know where the two names we all know came from.
Another really cool bit of info I found on imdb.com was "Princess Aurora's mother does not have a name in the movie, but in promotional materials she is named Queen Leah. Disney Studios have no record of who provided her voice."
Cool trivia! That is my favorite princess movie. :)
